The European City Economic and Financial Governance (CEFG) Group proudly announces the publication of its Standardised financial report and 10 financial health KPIs for City Governments in Europe as first tangible output of their cooperation. It is the first time in Europe that cities have embarked on the challenging undertaking to produce a joint financial balance sheet with the aim of reliably comparing their financial performance. read more

Launch of the European Public Sector Award 2015 – EPSA 2015

The European Public Sector Award - EPSA 2015 is open for applications until 17 April 2015.
Under the overarching theme "The Public Sector as Partner for a Better Society", EPSA 2015 will showcase and reward cases from the European public sector that embrace public administrations as partners in co-design and co-management of public service delivery, that show new service delivery approaches, innovative public management and leadership measures, as well as sound public finances to promote economic growth.

CEFG Group presented at the "Smart Local Governance" working meeting


Alexander Heichlinger presented the CEFG Group in front of an international audience of approximately 80 people in the session "In search of local public management excellence-Seven journeys and steps to success" during the conference "SMART LOCAL GOVERNANCE: The challenge of good governance in local administrations" in Bilbao on 6th of November. CEFG Group presented at the Bocconi University (IT), 23 October 2014


The CEFG group was presented at the SDA Bocconi School of Management (Milan) as a part of the 3rd NETCAP meeting (Network for Accounting and Control in Public Administration), which unites researchers and public sector professionals from local and regional level. Over the years, NETCAP has become a reference point for Public Administration and a platform to share and improve practices.
